媽祖本名林默娘

連江縣是中華民國福建省的外島縣，位於台灣海峽正北方，面臨閩江口、敖江口和羅源灣，與大陸只有一水之隔，為海運要衝。現主要由南竿島、北竿島、高登島、亮島、東莒島、西莒島、東引島、西引島及其附屬小島共計三十六個島嶼、礁嶼組成。
