臺東縣，是中華民國臺灣省的縣，位於臺灣本島東南方，面積僅次於花蓮縣、南投縣，為臺灣第三大縣。地理位置上，臺東縣縣境絕大部分位於北回歸線以南，東臨太平洋，南面和西面與屏東縣、高雄市以中央山脈為界，北面與花蓮縣為鄰。

Taitung County is the county of Taiwan Province of the Republic of China, located in the southeast of Taiwan's island, second only to Hualien County and Nantou County, the third largest county in Taiwan. Geographically, the vast majority of Taitung County is located in the south of the Tropic of Cancer, east of the Pacific Ocean, south and west and Pingtung County, Kaohsiung City to the Central Mountain Range, bordering the north and Hualien County.
